Tamika C. Purdie (Founder)
Two years ago, HERS (Helping Enforce Residents Services) was just a dream of a young lady that saw a need she felt was too big to be met by just the few organizations in the city of Paterson, NJ. Interacting with the public on a daily basis and wishing that she could do more than just refer them to organizations she knew had limited funding and assistance, President Tamika Purdie came to the conclusion that she had to find a way to intervene. Thinking of how she could provide a hand up rather than a hand out, she came up with the idea of HERS (Helping Enforce Residents Services). Through hard work, sleepless nights, early mornings and numerous meetings, HERS (Helping Enforce Residents Services) was established. Tamika C. Purdie is the founder and visionary of HERS Services.
