 Chat and Chew Program

The Chat and Chew Program at HERS Services is designed to equip participants with the tools, resources, and support necessary to secure meaningful employment and achieve long-term career success.

Program services include:

• Job Readiness Support: Resume writing, mock interviews, and access to interview opportunities with local employers.
   
• Professional Presentation: Assistance with professional attire for interviews and workplace readiness.
   
• One-on-One Guidance: Weekly sessions (by appointment) with individualized support provided for one month to help participants meet their personal and professional goals.
   
• Entrepreneurship Support: For individuals interested in starting or growing a business, we connect participants with experienced professionals to provide guidance on business development, sustainability, and increasing income opportunities.
   

To qualify, all participants must maintain an up-to-date application and client file. By combining career development with personalized support, the Chat and Chew Program empowers participants to overcome barriers, secure employment, and create pathways to economic independence.

 Monthly Networking Event

HERS Services also hosts a monthly networking event designed to connect organizations, businesses, and entrepreneurs with one another. These events provide a valuable opportunity for participants to build relationships, showcase their services, and explore potential collaborations that strengthen our community.

Each event features light refreshments and a welcoming space for organizations and businesses to share information, promote their work, and discuss opportunities for growth or support.

To participate, interested businesses or organizations must complete an application detailing their services, networking goals, and areas where collaboration or support is needed. This ensures that all participants are matched with meaningful opportunities to expand their impact and further their success.
