ABOUT ENERGEY ASSISTANCE

Our organization is committed to addressing the urgent needs of individuals and families experiencing energy insecurity by providing immediate and sustainable solutions. The Emergency Energy Assistance Program is designed to prevent utility shut-offs, restore essential services, and promote long-term energy stability for vulnerable households.

Program services include:

• Crisis Intervention: Direct financial assistance to address shut-off notices and prevent disconnection of essential utilities.
   
• Application Assistance: Support with completing and submitting applications for monthly energy assistance programs to ensure ongoing affordability.
   
• Case Management & Compliance: Guidance in maintaining accurate documentation and eligibility paperwork to secure continuous access to energy resources.
   
• Utility Navigation: Assistance with initiating new utility services and developing strategies for effective bill management.
   

To ensure meaningful and measurable outcomes, each client is paired with a dedicated caseworker for a minimum of one month. This individualized approach allows us to provide not only crisis relief but also the tools, knowledge, and advocacy clients need to achieve lasting energy stability.

Through this program, we aim to reduce the immediate risks of utility shut-offs while empowering households to maintain safe, sustainable living conditions.

Our nonprofit organization provides financial energy assistance contingent upon the availability of external funding sources such as grants, charitable donations, and program capacity. Assistance is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to households demonstrating the greatest need.
