ABOUT THE LEVEL UP PROGRAM

Our Mentee Program is designed to equip participants with the skills, guidance, and resources needed to achieve personal growth and long-term success. The program offers both one-on-one mentoring and group sessions that focus on developing essential life and career skills.

Program features include:

• Life Skills & Financial Literacy: Training in money management, independent living, and parenting support.
   
• Career Development: Job search assistance, resume writing, interview preparation, and job placement services.
   
• Education & Training: Access to trade training, specialized classes, and skill-building opportunities.
   
• Community Engagement: Mandatory volunteer service to promote responsibility and civic involvement.
   
• Incentive-Based Rewards: A structured reward system to recognize and encourage positive progress.
   
• Experiential Learning: Group and individual field trips tailored to participant interests and growth goals.
   

Each participant is paired with a dedicated mentor and counselor who provide consistent guidance, encouragement, and support throughout the program. This individualized approach ensures that mentees not only build practical skills but also gain the confidence and resilience necessary for long-term independence and success.

At HERS Services, our Level Up Program is designed to empower youth and young adults by providing mentorship, life skills, and growth opportunities. The program is divided into three age-based groups:

• Group 1: Ages 11–13
   
• Group 2: Ages 14–17
   
• Group 3: Ages 18–24
   

Placement is determined not only by age but also by maturity level, ensuring that each participant is supported in the group best suited for their development. Each group is limited to 10 participants. Once a group is full, additional applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Openings may occur if a participant graduates, moves to a different age group, or is removed from the program.

To remain active in the program, participants must comply with all rules, regulations, and required volunteer hours. Each year in August, we celebrate our participants with a Dinner and Awards Ceremony, followed by open enrollment in September.

All applicants must complete an application by the posted deadline (or have a parent/guardian complete it on their behalf if under 18).
